Village Halls/Parks/Playing Fields
The Parish Council is the Custodial Trustee of the Barlow Institute, Edgworth, and its grounds, as well as the playing fields at Ryecroft Lane, Belmont. Both are operated by Blackburn with Darwen Council.

Black Rock Community Orchard
The community orchard, between Birches Road and Vale Street, Edgworth, is maintained by the Parish Council, and provides a tranquil spot for picnics in the summer months.

Public Conveniences
The public conveniences at the Belmont Playing Fields are open daily.

Litter Collection
Blackburn with Darwen Council provides funding to the Parish Council for the collection of litter along the roadside throughout North Turton. Groundworks currently undertake this service.
Lengthsman Scheme
Lancashire County Council and the Parish Council jointly fund the Lengthsman scheme, which involves maitaining roadside verges, pathways and publicly owned spaces within North Turton. Groundworks currently undertake this service.
Dog Bins
The Parish Council maintains several dog bins around Belmont, Chapeltown and Edgworth.
